A collaboration exhibition between the Kurashiki Archaeological Center and the artist SHIBAKAWA Toshiyuki. What would people of the future think if, 2000 years from now, smartphones and mosquito coils were excavated as fossils?  Works by SHIBAKAWA Toshiyuki, an artist who continues to create works on the theme of modern society that were unearthed 2000 years later, and fossils of things today made by elementary school students who participated in the Kurashiki Citizens' Seminar "Let's create fossils 2000 years from now!" will be exhibited together with artifacts from Kurashiki at the Kurashiki Archaeological Center. Fossils of old things excavated in Kurashiki and modern things that may be excavated in future Kurashiki. Let's go back and forth between "past" and "future" and think about the present times and reexamine our lives. (text: flyers)

◎内容：倉敷埋蔵文化財センターと美術家・柴川敏之のコラボレーション展。もしも、2000年後にスマートフォンや蚊取り線香が化石となって出土したら、未来の人たちはどんなふうに思うでしょうか？ 2000年後に発掘された現代社会をテーマに制作を続ける美術家・柴川敏之さんの作品と、くらしき市民講座「未来と過去へタイムスリップ☆2000年後の化石をつくろう！」に参加した小学生が作った今のモノの化石作品を、倉敷の出土品と共に倉敷埋蔵文化財センターで展示します。倉敷で発掘された過去のモノと、未来の倉敷で発掘されるかもしれない現代のモノの化石。「過去」と「未来」を行き来しながら、今の時代について考え、私たちの生活をみつめ直してみましょう…。（text:チラシ）
