Past, present, future. These nouns, which are summarized on the time axis, divide time and space into three main areas. Through research, excavation, and research, people have accurately analyzed excavated ancient relics and logically linked them into history. Thus, the general approach is to learn "Current" by learning about the history of "past". The theme of this exhibition is "futuristic archaeology". Therefore, our perspective is directed toward the future we have yet to see. Specifically, through a collection of fossils reminiscent of the "Technology" of the age, we will explore diverse cultures, identities, and even the patterns of our minds triggered by technology, such as loneliness and anxiety. The fossils of everyday objects — "modern age" — that lie in 2000 years of history are a fusion of reality and imagination, and of past and future. And when they are <excavation> here, our notions of time, space, reality, and authenticity will be shaken. I saw with my own eyes that the "Current" that we are supposed to be living now suddenly appear as the "History" of the past, and that "future" is a mirror of the "Current". The exhibition's artist, Wei-Zheng TU was born in Taiwan in 1969, and SHIBAKAWA Toshiyuki was born in Japan in 1966. Both of them, who were born and raised in foreign countries in the same generation, have devoted themselves to the creation of archaeological relics and relics. In this exhibition, the two artists will try their own way of expressing the world they imagine, their three-dimensional works, and their production-themed performances (joint performance). ◎内容：過去、現在、未来。時間軸上に要約されるこれらの名詞は、時間と空間を大きく３つの領域に分けるものである。調査や発掘、そして研究を通じ、人々は発掘された古代の遺物を正確に分析し、それらを歴史の中に論理的に脈絡づけてきた。このように、私たちは「過去」の歴史を知ることによって、「現在」を学ぶ、というのが一般的なアプローチである。 本展は、「未来的考古学」をテーマとして構成されている。そこで、私たちの視点はまだ見ぬ未来へと向けられる。具体的には、この時代を表す「技術―テクノロジー」を想起させる作品群―化石作品を通じて、多様な文化、アイデンティティ、さらには孤独や不安といったような、テクノロジーによって引き起こされる私たちの心の模様をも探求していくことを試みる。2000年という遥かなる歴史の中に眠る日常の品々―すなわち「現代」の化石作品は、現実と想像、そして過去と未来とが融合したものである。そしてさらにそれらがここで＜発掘＞されるとき、私たちが抱いている時間、空間、現実、真偽といった概念は揺らいでしまうだろう。今、私たちが生きているはずの「現在」が、瞬時に過去の「歴史」となって立ち現れ、その「未来」は「現在」の写し鏡となっている姿を目の当たりにして。本展のアーティスト、Wei-Zheng TUは1969年に台湾で生まれ、柴川敏之は1966年に日本で生まれた。同世代ながらも異国に生まれ育った二人は、それぞれ考古学的な遺跡や遺物をモチーフにして、精力的に制作に打ち込んできたという共通点がある。本展では、この二人のアーティストが想像する世界のそれぞれ独自の表現方法、立体作品、そして制作テーマの競演（共演）を試みる。（text:チラシ）
